Example of a successful direct approach in the street

I'm Neil K, a direct guy from the UK currently living in Scotland. I've been into direct approach for nearly 15 years now and would never go back to indirect. I like daytime direct the most - I love approaching in non-bar/non-club settings such as the street, shops, anywhere, anytime really.

So this weekend I went to another city about 2 and a half hours away by train, and here is a report on a successful direct approach I did. Hopefully it inspires other guys to take action.

There were a few approaches that didn't go anywhere, as every direct guy gets. Then there was a girl I exchanged numbers with who called Kat Lynne and was probably late teens or early 20s (I'm 41 btw, but people tell me I look a lot younger haha).

She was tall, had glasses on and slightly red hair. My approach to her was in the street in the city centre as she was walking, just after 4pm as it was getting dark. I told her 'Excuse me, I just wanted to say, I think you're really attractive'. She stopped and seemed quite receptive.

I continued - it turns out she lives in Aberdeen. I suggested we hook up, she was like 'ok'. She said something about how some other guys had told her she was attractive, so I said 'well never mind those guys, just focus on me'.

I then stated my intentions directly with 'I have to be honest, I'm not looking for anything serious right now,  I'm just looking for casual sex, maybe a fuck buddy'.

She said something about how she's done that before and it 'hadn't gone well' and mentioned something about getting pregnant. I just said 'Ok, never mind that' and continued.

I continued with 'So how about you come over to my place sometime in the next few weeks and we could.....make passionate love to each other?'. She smiled, giggled and said 'The thing is, we're going back into lockdown'. I just answered 'so?', then 'So how about we exchange numbers?'.

She gave me her number willingly, I gave her mine and she said she'll text me. I didn't mention I live in another city but the distance is possible for a hook up. At the end of the approach I told her 'You have really nice lips' and smiled, giggled and stuck 2 fingers up at me playfully as we parted.

I didn't try for a same day lay due to logistics - I had to get the train home, since it was late in the day and I was in another city.

So yeh, a very solid, textbook direct approach from me there. It seems promising, but we'll see what happens.
